I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and recharged your batteries for the coming semester. We'll use this blog as a venue to post interesting readings and links beyond those on the class syllabus. In addition, we may use it for out-of-class discussions and announcements.
For those of you who like to have things done in advance, you can order a used copy of the course textbook from Amazon more cheaply than the ASU bookstore is selling it (heck, even new copies of the paperback are pretty cheap, too) by clicking on the link below:
If you want to be even more prepared, you could read chapter 2. :)
Each week we'll usually cover one chapter from that book and 2-3 primary sources, which I'll be posting on the course's ASUlearn site for copyright reasons.
